This brooch has the box and ball pattern around the edge with flowers and birds in the centre typical of this period. The brooch fastens with a pin and rollover clasp and measures 3. 5cms in diameter. There is slight damage to one of the box decorations which appears to be pushed in, but this does not detract from the
