The Thorn in the Side WWI the entry of Italy intoThis project was a commission by David Bownes who is one of the chaps who worked on restoring this beautiful aircraft to it's present state (now on show at the aviation museum at Cosford). It sports the distinctive bulge under the fuselage that allowed the aircraft to carry the 4,000lb 'Cookie' blast bomb.
